Premier gala for courage welcomes former Cincinnati Bengals safety and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati

Brave Like Me Foundation is excited to announce that individual tickets are now on sale for our third annual Bravesgiving Gala on November 15 at the Sharonville Convention Center in Glendale, Ohio. This fundraising event is a celebration of courage and hope, uniting the community in our mission to create moments of uninhibited joy for children with CMCs.

This year’s program will feature a keynote address by College Football Hall of Famer and former Cincinnati Bengals safety David Fulcher, along with a storytelling segment by Jennifer Loeb, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati. Returning for the second year in a row, WLWT Anchor Megan Mitchell will emcee the evening.

Guests will enjoy a celestial-themed celebration complete with a chef-curated dinner, signature cocktails and exclusive silent and live auctions featuring unique experiences and one-of-a-kind items, all while making a meaningful impact in the lives of brave children facing complex medical challenges.

“Bravesgiving is more than a fundraising gala, it's a powerful tribute to the courageous children facing life's medical challenges with extraordinary resilience,” said John Otten, Executive Chair and Co-Founder, Brave Like Me. “In 2024, attendance soared by 40% and we raised more than $150,000, all dedicated to helping children live boldly in the face of medical challenges. We also unveiled our first, one-of-a-kind Mobile Family Pet Reunion Center. This year, with the support of David Fulcher, Jennifer Loeb and Megan Mitchell, we are striving to raise $300,000 to build two more pet centers and expand our child-centered programs and services.”

Discounted early bird tickets are available through September 15, including individual and couples’ options. Tables of 10 are also available for $1,500. Limited sponsorship opportunities remain, offering businesses prominent recognition at the event, on social media and in pre- and post-event communications, all while highlighting their commitment to brave children and their families. Proceeds from the gala will be used to power life-changing programs that help children live boldly, even in the face of medical adversity.
